Education is at the core of what I do, and I believe in unlocking the potential in each of my students. During my undergraduate work at Westmont College in California, I saw a huge gap in available tutoring services -- tutors were either subject-matter experts, but not very friendly or invested in their students, or tutors were personable and caring, but often lacked the expertise needed to help their students master their subjects. Master Makers was founded to fill that gap.Â
I draw on my own experience from graduate school, having completed my masters degree at Duke University, and my PhD at The University of Texas, to help my students become study skill masters, test prep geniuses, and subject-matter experts. I take great pride in making masters, one college acceptance letter at a time!
HOW IT WORKS
ONLINE
We have the capacity to tutor any student, anywhere, at any time. Students videoconference with their tutor, share desktop screens, and use Google Suite tools to live chat, maintain homework files, and edit assignments in real time.
IN PERSON
We also provide in person tutoring sessions for students living in the Greater Austin area. To find out if we service your area, submit an inquiry on the contact page.
